Nigerian celebrity barman and businessman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest, has opened up about his experience with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Recall that following allegations of naira abuse, Cubana Chief Priest found himself entangled in legal proceedings with the EFCC.
The case, which saw him facing trial at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State, stemmed from his alleged misuse of the Nigerian currency.
The socialite was charged with three counts of naira abuse and was arraigned on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
However, it was reported that Cubana Chief Priest denied the allegations before Justice Kehinde Ogundare.
The charges were based on an incident where Cubana Chief Priest allegedly violated the Central Bank Act of 2007 during a social event.
Cubana Chief Priest Warns
In an Instagram post on Thursday, May 2, 2024, Cubana Chief Priest admitted that it was another court day for him.
He expressed that the situation was not good, indicating some problems he was facing.
Cubana Chief Priest emphasised that the anti-graft agency, EFCC, is serious and not to be taken lightly.

Cubana Chief Priest urged Nigerians to stay away from any trouble with the EFCC, stating, “I’m sure you wouldn’t love to go through the kind of stress I’m experiencing.”
He wrote, “Court day !!! Problem No Good Oh, @officialefcc No Dey Joke Oh !!!! Better Stay Away From Their Wahala.”
