The toxicology test carried out on Mohbad, the late singer, to determine the cause of his death has been completed.
Born Ilerioluwa Aloba, Mohbad died at the age of 27 years. His death was a global tragedy as Nigerians and music lovers both at home and abroad demanded justice.

the director of Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre, Dr Richard Somiari, said the autopsy result of the late singer and rapper Mohbad would be available in the next three to four weeks.
Richard disclosed this during a coroner inquest on the death of the singer on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Ikorodu Magistrate Court.
An autopsy was conducted to ascertain the cause of his death following a directive from the Lagos state government.

The final test results were sent to the state DNA and Forensic Centre last week and handed over to the police, Punch reports.
This publication gathered that the report has also been forwarded to the medical pathologist who conducted the autopsy for analysis and interpretation.
Monisola Odumosu, the head of the family’s legal counsel, announced that they would apply to the state high court to conduct a separate autopsy and toxicology test.
Odumosu expressed the family’s concerns about the autopsy process, claiming that no medical expert represented the family during the autopsy.
