In an effort to showcase the rich traditions and heritage of Ogbomosoland, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, appointed a 15-member committee on Sunday, April 25.

The primary goal of this committee, as emphasized by Oba Olaoye, is to plan and execute various events and activities aimed at promoting socio-economic growth, preserving cultural heritage, and attracting tourists, both locally and internationally, to Ogbomoso.
Led by former Special Assistant to the President on Media, Williams Adeleye, the committee includes notable figures such as former member of the House of Representatives, Segun Odebunmi; Oyo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Dotun Oyelade; and other esteemed individuals.

He emphasized the potential of organizing cultural and tourism events to attract local and foreign investors, create jobs, and boost economic activities in the area.
